Your Quality Assurance in the Hypnotherapists Listed

We believe that we have to be able to have confidence in the therapists that are listed on this site so that you as a customer looking for information, advice and potentially a therapist can also have confidence in the skills and ethics of those listed here; however it is the responsibility of the individual to satisfy themselves of a therapist's current qualifications, insurance, membership etc.

We apply stringent levels of membership requirements to the hypnotherapists listed in the Directory of IBSHelp.org.uk - for you the user of the site this means you can have confidence that all the therapists should have reached high minimum standards of training, taken an external examination to gain their qualification, were ethically trained, follow strict Codes of Conduct and Professional Ethics, are fully insured and meet minimum standards of Continuing Professional Development.

Therefore all Hypnotherapists are registered with one or more of the following bodies:-

and have undertaken specific IBS therapy training to ensure confidence in their abilities and the efficacy of treatment being offered.

There are many qualifications available in hypnotherapy and this site feels that they and their members
meet the rigorous standards that should be applied in this alternative and complementary health care arena. They are also similar to the standards of the NHSTA's Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners, amongst others.

Whilst IBSHelp.org.uk checks the details of therapists when they join the Directory this does not necessarily mean that they have current paid membership of one or more of the professional bodies above after that point of joining. It is wholly the responsibility of the site user to satisfy themselves about an individual therapist's current qualifications, status, insurance etc. If a therapist's details have changed please inform the Admin department for this site via the form on the contacts page so that we may follow it up.

IBSHelp.org.uk accepts no responsibility for any treatment given by any therapist/ member of its Directory to any user of this website; that is a matter of contract between the two parties concerned. Any complaints or concerns with a therapist should be taken up with their professional body through the respective complaints procedure. IBSHelp.org.uk would always appreciate feedback on therapy its efficacy etc.
