Users of the site should have been medically diagnosed as having IBS - this is very important as IBS is similar to other gut related problems such as Crone's Disease, Colitis, Coeliac Disease and Bowel Cancer - amongst others any hypnotherapy treatment could mask their symptoms.
Using this site and information contained on it is no substitute for a medical diagnosis; so please do use clinical services as well; please ensure you have a medical diagnosis of IBS before using this site as a resource for Hypnotherapy for IBS.
IBSHelp.org.uk is run on a 'not-for-profit' basis, that
doesn't mean there aren't costs, but it does mean that
income received is used to pay actual costs (staffing
etc) and any residual income is re-invested to help
develop the website service for the benefit of all who
use it as a resource to help manage their IBS. Any
surplus is not taken as dividends or profits.
We
have limited income streams from the Hypnotherapists and
other CAM
practitioners listed or with box adverts; therefore to
help this resource grow we ask that users of the site,
especially the forum, consider making
a small donation
of just £5.00 per annum to support the site
and have access to all its features including the chat
rooms.
